Still basking in the afterglow and amazement that MY sister is the "World's Fittest Woman!!" Blows my mind!! :-)

The fact that Josh and Tanya BOTH got the privilege of participating in this year's games, AND the fact that they both fought their way through all the WODs on Sat was incredible enough. Then Tanya going on to be the 2009 Champion is just over-the-top awesome and amazing!!!

I want a t-shirt that says "My Sister, My Hero" or maybe "Proud Sister of the 2009 Crossfit Games World's Fittest Women" It has a nice ring to it doesn't it?

Wow. What a crazy weekend of anxious nausea, sweat & pain, tears of overload, tears of joy, and screams celebration!! There's just nothing like Crossfit :-)

I just wanted to send out my congrats to Tanya for an outstanding and truly inspiring job at this years Crossfit games! It took me awhile to realize it after last years games, but I was on your Pennridge HS soccer team back in the day. I just remember thinking, "HOLY CRAP! That's my old goal keeper!" Anyway, I was the short, quick mid fielder/striker who you had to "hate" because I was a Freshman and you were a Junior/Senior the next year. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that your performance has motivated me to get more serious about Crossfit competitively, and I wish you the best of luck in next years games. Maintain your title!

Candice Wagner Ruiz (I just got married!) :)
Congrats again!
