THE LORD & LADY OF APEX
It's time to start gearing up for local Affiliate comps, throw-downs, the CrossFit Games Sectionals and ramp up the intensity and competition within our Apex athletes. Apex will be holding a friendly competition amongst Apex athletes on Saturday mornings. The competitive workouts will crown a LORD and LADY of CrossFit Apex, after 6 consecutive weeks. By participating in the Saturday morning WOD you will qualify for the competition. Week 1 will start Saturday, Jan, 8th. Come workout on Saturday's and give yourself a chance to wear that Crown!
There will be 4 Divisions-:Males 19 and older, Females 19 and older, Males below 19 and Females below 19.
Rules and Regulations:
1. Titles (LORD of Apex, LADY of Apex) will be held for 6 weeks.
2. Scoring-: Times will determine by points (ex. 1st place = 1 point , 5th place =5 points)
3. Lowest points earner within the 6 weeks will be crowned Lord/Lady. If you miss a Saturday you will be awarded highest amount of points that week. (Ex. If there are 10 competitors on a Saturday that you miss you will be awarded 11pts)
FAQ:
1. Will trainers and outsiders be allowed to compete? No, This Title is just for APEX Clients excluding Bussom, Tanya and Josh
2. Am I allowed to scale? Yes, However you will be scored against those who also scale, 1 exercise scaled, 2 exercises scaled etc. Those who Rx will be in the running for 1st place unless the entire group must scale.
3. Is it OK to wear wife beaters to Competition Saturday? Yes Zimnock, you and Bryce may unleash the guns!
4. Do I have a certain time limit for any of the workouts? Yes all timed workouts will have a time cap. If you do not finish within the time cap the best you can score is the last place among all participating athletes.
This is not meant to discourage any athlete from attending. If you wish not to participate in comp but would still like to attend the WOD, PLEASE do so!

Regional Individuals are going to have to video or go to a local affiliate to compete. The Affiliate Teams are also little different this year. All Affiliate Team Members must compete in Regionals.
