For anybody who may NOT be competing and has ever thought about attending a Crossfit event - DO IT, you won't be disappointed. Hotels are cheap due to low demand in early June – Marriott brands $59-$89 a night. The drive is ~3.5 hours, much easier than it sounds, just find 95 and head south, you’ll eventually hit DC. Jeff Tincher, Maggie Dabe and Steve Rakow who are running the event are top notch and put on one heck of a show – not to mention some of the original Crossfit HQ crew. Maybe even do a 2fer, one day at Crossfit, 1 day seeing the DC sites. If anybody has question about where to stay, how to get there feel free to ask me. I’ll even be able to give you the latest road construction updates a few days before the event.
