The SPARTAN RACE at Blue Mountain Ski Area
How many Apex athletes would be interested in running the Spartan Race? CrossFit Apex has been asked to be a potential Host CROSSFIT affiliate for a throwdown competition following the actual Spartan Race at Blue Mountain. By being the host affiliate we would help judge the throwdown. In compensation for helping to judge and be the Host CROSSFIT affiliate APEX athletes may potentially run the race free of charge. We would need to know how many people would be interested in participating. The event takes place at Blue Mountain on Saturday Sept. 10th. Please comment to this post if you can represent Apex on the run and/or help judge this so called Throwdown following the race. (Comment Run Only, Judge Only or Both) We will hopefully have more information on the Throwdown and the events as the race gets closer. From what is sounds like the Throwdown could be similar to CrossFit style wods, timed events, moving weights, body weight etc. Click here to see more info on this race.
