Winter Combine Movement Standards 

 JERK   
Athletes will use a rack. The jerk may be done from in front or behind the head.  For lift to be successful, athlete must stabilize weight above their head with arms and legs locked at full extension with their feet under their hips. Athlete must wait for their judges “Good” call before dropping weight. All athletes are responsible for loading & unloading weights and racking the barbell.

SLED 
May ONLY touch the straps, may wrap yourself into the straps however you feel fit to move the weight. Sled must be pulled. Event with sled will be completed outdoors. Dress accordingly! 

BURPEE BOX JUMP
Chest and thighs must touch the ground, must jump off of 2 feet and land on top of box, hip must be open to full extension above top of box before returning to the ground. May jump off or step down.

SIT UP
Athlete will sit in front of their box with knees bent, toes in contact with box, hands must touch floor behind their head/shoulders, then sit up and touch the top of the box with both hands (finger tips must break front edge of box) simultaneously. 

KETTLE BELL SWING
At the top of the swing, the arms and legs must be locked and at full extension with head in front of bicep and ears visible. At bottom of swing kettlebell must pass behind the heels. Kettle bell tilt above your head will be your own preference. 

DEADLIFT
Athlete must stand with knees locked and shoulders must pass behind the bar. Dropping is allowed once judge has made  a "Good" call. Their will be NO BOUNCING/SLAMMING bars. Elbows may not bend at all throughout lift. 
BACK SQUAT
Athlete must squat hips below parallel (hip crease below the top of the knee) and stand up with hips open to full extension. High bar or low bar back squat is personal preference to the individual. 

*Belts, knee sleeves & lifting shoes may be worn for any event. NO KNEE WRAPS!
