I changed the workout in my head to 60 reps with a 100lb attempt at the end. Easier on the noggin.

haha I had to do the same thing for me Shanna. Just watching Dan and Rich do it makes me nervous to get through that first 60, it took them about 5min! Tonight is going to be a battle.....

I'm not one to complain but I'm not happy about this wod. Not just because this is one my weakest movements - well, mostly because of that. But to do high reps of one of the most technical lifts at high rate of speed is a recipe for disaster. Hopefully, we can stave off the injuries. I'm considering a mouthguard for this one. And I'm only sorta kidding.

I was very excited when I got word about 12.2, so excited I gave a trial run last night.
I hit 85 reps(must have been the coaching- Kutty&Kacie)....my goal is 91.

What's your goal?

The jump from 75 to 135 is big for me. I imagine cranking through the 75-pounders, then spending the remaining time trying not to injure myself with a 135-banger.

My goal is 61 but I'm not sure how realistic that is. With my max being 155# i don't know how well I will be able to stay with 135# for 30 reps AFTER 30 reps of 75# haha Definitely an interesting wod!

I truely think pace plays a huge role. My thoughts last night....Get through 75# and 135# as fast as I can, then battle out with 165#
Saturday will be: Pace

Bus - you know around what time you finished the first 60??

I think I like it. Was shocked at how slow Dan and Rich moved on the 75# & 135#. Looking at my records I am surprised that I have never done Isabel (30 135# snatch for time). So I was hoping to base off that time.

Like Dan, 165# is near my max snatch (and OHS), so I am hoping to make it through the 75# & 135# with some time left to get a couple at 165#.

But the best layed plans. I thought I was going to get through the 135# ohs in the (burpee, ohs, mu) wod last year, and that didn't happen.

The way I see it I have 10 minutes to do 30 snatches!

My thoughts are bust out the 75's as fast as possible then pace the 135's. If i make to the 165 mark I'm with Dan in that my max is only 155 (so far). A practice run on this wod should help.

Kurt, I'm gonna try to make it at 7 tonight but the kids schedule may get in the way.

I am scared at the lack of 100+ scores. Makes me severly doubt my goal!! Yeah me!
