The 2013 CrossFit Open has come to a close

Do you remember when you had a trainer encouraging you to sign up for the Open? You thought to yourself, "There is no way I can do that." Well, we hope you took the advice and signed up to have the opportunity to experience what the hype was really all about. Now it is time to share your accomplishments. And for those who may have missed this years opportunity 2014 will be right around the corner. Please post to comments all successes you have seen by spending your $20 Open registration Fee. Please post any and all accomplishments from mental gains, PR's, friendships, etc. I am sure your $20 was well worth the anxiety of each and every Friday Night. Time to start preparing for next year. Take each and every workout as serious as you did the Open Wods and you just might surprise yourself in your Life gains not just physically.

This year's open was amazing, I enjoyed spending it with the Apex family. This was my best open yet and I was a glad to be apart of your team. I'm already looking forward to 2014, and know exactly what to train for. Anything on the pull up bar is a weakness for me, along with Snatches.. I plan to really work on them over the next 11 months. My Stamina has improved immensely since last year and mindset was definitely better as well. Just keep moving... Be thankful that our moments of "pain and suffering" are temporary and voluntary.. Apex truely has exceptional coaching and I give all the credit for my latest accomplishments to that. Thanks for always pushing me! Always in great company as well.. Great job everyone!

The week before we started, I adjusted my diet. I lost 9 pounds by the end of the open, witch really made a huge difference in some of my moves. Before the open I could only string 3 c2b pull ups then drop to singles, on 13.5 I strung 10 c2b. I also made a huge improvement on toes to bar
