WEBSITE WILL BE CHANGING OVER THIS WEEKEND. SORRY FOR ANY INTERRUPTIONS.

Next APEX Strength

Starts this Monday July 18th at 7pm. This will be the start of our second session of APEX Strength. In this class you will increase your strength in your deadlift, back squat, front squat, jerk and bench press.

You must email or notify a trainer prior to Monday's class if you are planning on attending Session 2. This is a 4 week program with classes being held on Monday and Wednesday nights from 7-8pm and Saturday mornings from 9-10am. You may not join session 2 once the classes have begun (July 18th) so check your calendar now. We expect that you are able to make atleast 2 of the 3 classes per week. This will allow for the largest gains. APEX Strength Session 2 will run July 18th through August 13th. Cost for the 4 week program is $100.

We have seen tremendous gains in strength as well as technique from our first session.
Here are a few video clips from session 1:

Zim, I see what youre talking about with my hips coming up first. Thanks for the info. I'm going to try to focus on that more.

Great work to everyone in the strength class! Lots of PRs and hard work.

Any returning APEX strength people from session 1 will not have to re-max on day 1 and 2, you will be given the go ahead to continue working heavy as we did throughout the 4 weeks. You will go off of your last max lifts from the end of Session 1.

Just curious if this format is similar to 'Strong Lifts 5x5'.

So I want to sign up for the second session of the strength class but I'm going to gone that last week (second week of aug) will that be ok?

Not everything is 5x5, sometimes we in corporate 3x5, some are 1x7, some are 5reps at 70%, 3 reps at 80%, Max reps 90%. Always different! CrossFit:)

Dan you can do the first 3 weeks, that would work fine. We can talk more about it next time we meet up. Thanks for inquiring.
