Time: ~5:00—7:00 pm

If you ordered meat, please drop off a cooler (larger the better, labeled with your name) at CF Apex by Wednesday of this week.  I will be picking up the meat on Thursday, March 29th and bringing it straight to CF Apex for pickup around 5 pm.  If you will not be able to pick up your own order, please see if someone else can pick it up for you, or call me to make other arrangements.  Meat cuts will be divided evenly across orders. Feel from to trade with each other.  Meat is $5/lb.  Make checks payable to “Dave Gartner”.   There are copies of the order sheet at CF Apex, is you want to confirm how much you ordered.

Additional update on the meat.

I received the final numbers today. Good news is it is still $5 a pound!

The not so good news is that they messed up on the ammount, so the order is a little light.

So for those of you who ordered 50 lbs, I will have 40 lbs for you on Thursday. For those of you who ordered 25 pounds, I will have 20 lbs for you on Thursday.

So you have the option to take the 40/20 lbs and be done with your order, or if you would like the full amount of what you ordered, I plan to place a smaller order to make up the difference. You can let me know whe you pick up your meet on Thursday.

Sorry for the mix up. See you Thurday!

Thanks so much Dave!!!!

The dogs ran to the cooler the minute I opened it. It was like christmas morning discovering all the different cuts of beef. Memories of my mom's recipies started running thru my head. I haven't bought beef in ages (except for ground beef)

not sure what to do with a paticular cut of meat? Post a question about it on the current days WOD page and I am sure someone with have an idea for you.

i.e. Meaty soup bone? Not just for soup. Great is crockpot for use in stew or other crockpot recipes. Don't forget the tasty marrow from the bone.

The smaller cuts of meat will thaw in the frige in under a day. Some of the roasts may take 2-3 days in the fridge. The ground beef can be thawed in the microwave (dont forget to removed the metal clips on end of tube) on your microwaves meat defrost setting.
