CrossFit Apex CHRISTMAS PARTY
When: Dec.15th 6:30pm-late
What: Christmas party and Polyanna
Where: The box
Dress Code: Dressier than workout gear, but not as formal as prom attire (we will have heat on :)
Who's invited: All Apex group class members and significant others are welcome.
Side note: This is the first ever kid-free and first ever evening event being held at Apex!

We will host dinner and supply the main meat and all beverages. Guests are asked to either bring a side or dessert to share. The gift exchange will be apex style, sure to keep everyone on their toes (I mean in your heels) there will be an order that each person goes and picks a gift out of the pile, one at a time people will go get a gift, open the gift so everyone gets to see it, when it's the next person's turn they can either get a gift from the pile or "steal" one of the other gifts that were already opened, once a present is "stolen" from the owner, that person can now go steal another gift or go pick a new one out of the pile...but here's the twist each present will have a card on it with an exercise "10 burpees" "1 muscle up" etc...the only way you will be allowed to steal that gift is if you perform the exercise before the steal can take place :) ...you will have to choose is the gift worth the exercise or not :) This fun may also dictate your attire, or your attire may dictate what gifts you may have to pass up.

We would like to decide on a dollar amount and a "gift theme" what are you thoughts on $ amount per gift...$15, $20 what type of theme (workout gear, food, anything flies, suggestions)?? Please share your thoughts on comments.
Also, please comment if you are able to join us and what you plan to bring so we have a head count for the evening. Thanks!

Josh and I are planning on attending. We will bring a side and a dessert...TBD. We think it would make it more interesting if the gifts were more diverse: may make for more steals? Gift amount of $15-20 sounds good. We can bring a table too, if needed. :)
When your talking diverse I like that better too. Tools, Bath and Body works, exercise stuff, Spencer's gifts from the mall :), you name it, you might see it. Thoughts? Thanks for being first to respond Irvin's. Tanya and I are really excited for a night out too.- Josh

Missy and I plan on attending. Good thing I know I have a DD set up already :) I will make a buffalo chicken dip. We are ok with the 15 - 20 dollar range on gifts. I also have a folding table and 6 chairs I can bring.
Careful what you wish for on gifts...a shake weight might find its way into the mix.
Erik and I are in. We can bring a side dish and dessert as well. 15-20 dollars is good. Just need to get the babysitter:)
FUN! Mitch and I are in. 15-20 is good. I have a brand new raw recipe book I've been dying to try and I can also bring in my banana whip machine to make fruit ice cream =)

DePietros are in. Cost range is fine. I still have 3 tables sitting in the gym from the prior event, will just leave them there. Will bring some type of dish.

YES, Spencer's still exists! Head to the Willow Grove Mall for all of your fake poo needs:) I remember when Pee Wee's Big Adventure came out and Spencer's was the only place to find trick gum and boomerang glasses:)

Ok so the tallies are in....$15-$20 gift and the theme is "Grab bag" bring anything from bacon socks to gourmet paleo ingredients to spencer's poo (and i am still laughing about that one :) You name it, it's on!

I'm in...polyana will be a blast! I will bring a dish...not sure what? I have a DD for some of us...the advantage to having teenagers :-)

I will gladly continue the tradition of being APEX's designated driver for anybody who needs it. We never let anyone drive home who shouldn't. Doesn't matter where you live.
