It's not goodbye, it's see ya later...
To our Apex family, (from Kutty and Kacie),

Apexers,
As many of you are aware, a few weeks ago, Crossfit 610 in Allentown, PA abruptly closed it's doors, leaving many members without a gym.  A friend and former 610 member approached us with a plan to start a box in the Lehigh Valley.  Although the idea was exciting, we felt very torn because Apex is our home.  The thought of leaving our tight-knit community made our stomachs turn.  However, after much deliberation, we've decided to go with our gut and jump on this opportunity.  This fall, we plan on opening up "South Mountain Crossfit" in Emmaus, PA.

When we return from Colorado, not only will we be "Mr. & Mrs. Miller" (crazy!) we will no longer be regular Apex members and trainers.  Rather than turning this post into a sappy sloppy tear jerker, true to our form, we'd like to go out with a little bit of humor, and lots of love :-) Here are some final thoughts and words of wisdom from each of us:

1.    Never ever try to body slam someone who's bigger than you, (no matter how small their legs and feet are). That being said, never ever tell your girlfriend they're a hippo and expect them to take it as a compliment because "hippos are strong."
2.    If you find any random socks, wrist wraps, water bottles, or shirts, please send them to our home address.  Yes, all of them probably belong to Kutty.
3.    It's ok to cry during workouts.  Kacie usually cries during or after 1 out of 4 wods.
4.    Each of you is an inspiration to someone in the gym, whether you realize it or not.  If you start to lose motivation or drive, just take a few minutes and look around you.  People are doing amazing things every single day at Apex.  Take it all in.
5.    BELIEVE & TRUST.  Trust your body, even when your head is filled with doubt, during a workout or in life.  Trust your trainers to push you, yet protect you.  BELIEVE in Crossfit and all it encompasses.  BELIEVE that the greater the struggle, the stronger you will become.

We expect to see each of you again in the near future, and will not be accepting any excuses otherwise.  Whether it's during a friendly throw-down, a tailgate, or stopping by for a WOD, please don't become a stranger!  Thank you all so much for an incredible experience at Apex!!
 Peace, love, and WODS,
KC & Kutty
